Assuming Wesley in this novel is contemporaneous with Prodigy, than the Temporal Wars are already finished from his perspective.I'm intrigued, and find myself wondering if it could be connected to the Temporal Cold War in some manner.
Things can be up to interpretation. For example, most people thought the Borg conquest timeline was negated by the end of Star Trek: First Contact, but the Coda trilogy showed that it managed to persist.Assuming Wesley in this novel is contemporaneous with Prodigy, than the Temporal Wars are already finished from his perspective.
