I was thinking/hoping it could be a Titan A story set before S3 with Shaw and Seven in the lead, but given the last Picard novel was a Seven centered one, it's not likely they'd do another so relatively soon.
It's kind of a throwback to the early Pocket covers in the '80s, where the artists sometimes mixed TV and movie elements due to limited familiarity or lack of image references.
MeForty-one CAN dollars for a book‽ Daaaarn that’s steep.
Also, I’m surprised they release a novel for a show that’s ended. Who’s the audience for this?
Thank you for continuing to write TOS books. You beat me to the punch. If any fandom has a history for supporting tie-in books long after the TV series are cancelled, it's STAR TREK.
Says the guy who is still writing TOS novels . . . .![]()

The faces seem slightly off, especially Wesley's and Seven's.
The novels can because she was seen onscreen wearing a uniform in the TV series this novel is based on.Also interesting how different tie-ins work. Star Trek Online isn't allowed to show Seven in starfleet for some reason, but the novels apparently can?
Have Star Trek Online staff made any statements about that? I just assumed they were desperately exploiting the lack of progress on Star Trek: Legacy to cling to their pre-Star Trek: Picard continuity status quo as much as possible, like how the STO mission "Axiom" released earlier this year made what I interpreted as a dig at the "xB" term from PIC.Also interesting how different tie-ins work. Star Trek Online isn't allowed to show Seven in starfleet for some reason, but the novels apparently can?
