2026 Novel Releases

Allow me, then. :)

this is beautiful!!

It's weird, even though it's *squints* the "Cage" version of the TOS Enterprise, something about the angle and lighting makes me keep interpreting it as some kind of TOS/TMP hybrid, like the Phase II design.

It's kind of a throwback to the early Pocket covers in the '80s, where the artists sometimes mixed TV and movie elements due to limited familiarity or lack of image references.

Ah, those were the days! I fondly remember so many of those covers.

I can't wait to read this.

:)

Yes thanks for continuing writing TOS star trek novels .The Gillian Taylor novel that came out last year is one of my favorite novels.:):bolian:

Still no blurb or plot details, but based on that cover, I'm guessing this is not the Captain Shaw novel it's been rumored to have been, as Seven has four pips on her collar, and Raffi is wearing command red, suggesting this novel takes place after the finale. And is that supposed to be Wesley at the top?

Seems to be a new style for the Picard covers… I really like it!

Between the title and the cover image, I’m thinking some kind of time-travel story? If so, I’m probably looking forward to this even more than before! Although I guess it could also be a multiple universe story too…the “cracked glass” imagery is similar to what they did with the Myriad Universes books. Either way, my interest is piqued, so I guess the cover has done its job!

Also interesting how different tie-ins work. Star Trek Online isn't allowed to show Seven in starfleet for some reason, but the novels apparently can?

Have Star Trek Online staff made any statements about that? I just assumed they were desperately exploiting the lack of progress on Star Trek: Legacy to cling to their pre-Star Trek: Picard continuity status quo as much as possible, like how the STO mission "Axiom" released earlier this year made what I interpreted as a dig at the "xB" term from PIC.
