2026 Comics Thread

It won’t be the first time a Trek comics licensee claimed its work was canon. Pretty sure I remember that happening around when First Contact came out, with a publisher (was it Marvel?) talking about the Enterprise-E’s previously-unrevealed stealth mode. Didn’t matter then either.
What I remember of that time was talk that Marvel elements could appear in Voyager. I became very interested in who the Herald of Galactus in the 24th-century was, because Janeway facing off with Galactus intrigued me.

Every time I see that David Gerrold is working on a new project, I'm reminded that fans have been waiting for the next Chtorr novel since 1992.
He posts updates on the fifth Chtorr book on Facebook. Last I can remember, he wrote that he had three chapters to go. Whether that means there's actually movement, I leave as an exercise to the reader.

Bendis is great. He had an awesome Daredevil run and he created Jessica Jones. When written by him, stories with these characters excel due to other-than-superhero factors, he's just a good writer.
