What I remember of that time was talk that Marvel elements could appear in Voyager. I became very interested in who the Herald of Galactus in the 24th-century was, because Janeway facing off with Galactus intrigued me.It won’t be the first time a Trek comics licensee claimed its work was canon. Pretty sure I remember that happening around when First Contact came out, with a publisher (was it Marvel?) talking about the Enterprise-E’s previously-unrevealed stealth mode. Didn’t matter then either.
He posts updates on the fifth Chtorr book on Facebook. Last I can remember, he wrote that he had three chapters to go. Whether that means there's actually movement, I leave as an exercise to the reader.Every time I see that David Gerrold is working on a new project, I'm reminded that fans have been waiting for the next Chtorr novel since 1992.
Damn, now I'm disappointed that didn't happen, a Voyager vs Galactus story would have been awesome. What I remember of that time was talk that Marvel elements could appear in Voyager. So 12 issues, so basically a year run. Not bad, I have enjoyed it!Yup, Academy is a five-issue mini, and the solicit for #10 of Last Starship says its the start of the last arc, which matches what is said in a couple of podcasts. Looks like LS is shutting down so Legacy can take over as the lead title.
