Yes, as I noted in the upcoming signings thread (pinned at the top of this forum), at New York Comic Con, I’ll be signing hardcover copies of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – Ring of Fire in the Simon & Schuster pavilion, Booth #3409, on Saturday, October 11, from 5PM to 5:45PM.

Based on the blurb it would have to be season 3 as it makes reference to Spock and La'an being in a relationship.

Correct, It takes place between episode 3.6 “The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail” and 3.7 “What Is Starfleet?” (and it references bits from those episodes, as well as a scene from 3.8 “Four and a Half Vulcans”.
