Though already mentioned in the 2024 thread, as this is being released in 2025, I figure it's time to start a thread for novel releases in the year 2025. First up, a new SNW novel, Toward the Night by James Swallow coming April 29 2025.

FYI, it appears that Toward The Night has been brought forward to a January 5th release date.

According to some sources (in this case: amazon.co.uk) you are absolutely right.
According to other sources (in this case: amazon.com AND amazon.de as well as the S&S website) the release date remains April 29, 2025.
Therefore I assume some sort of glitch on amazon.co.uk...
But then again: who am I to tell?

Canadian Amazon also still says April 29, as does Indigo's website. For what it's worth, I doubt January 5 would be the release date at any rate, at least in North America, as January 5 is a Sunday and most books usually have their release dates scheduled on Tuesdays. So if it is moving ahead to January, I think January 7 would be a more likely date.

Maybe I'm naïve, but I guess I would tend to assume that the author of the book might be privy to more up-to-date information as to when his book is coming out? Perhaps the various Amazons just haven't been updated yet?

Be that as it may, I still think it's odd to have a book release scheduled on a Sunday. But we'll see.
