That was a nerve-wrecking game by Germany. So much drama! It really had everything - Löw with disheveled hair pacing up and down in the coaching zone, Rudy's broken nose and bleeding all over the place, epically bad passes, dozens of missed chances, Boateng sent off and finally that awesometastic freekick goal by Kroos in the last minute of stoppage time, just when almost everyone had given up hope. I thought Löw's era was over but hopefully not. I'm looking forward to even wilder hair at the next game.
I hope that game finally freed the team from their weird psychological hang-up. I don't really expect them to go very far in this tournament (because of the flawed defense and the lack of efficiency at scoring goals) but at least they remembered how to play football well. I'm content with that.

I'm half convinced that Portugal's going to win this thing.Pepe really is a disgraceful excuse for a footballer. I'd like to see Portugal exit the tournament as soon as possible for no other reason than his presence in their team. He's a blight on the sport.
