2001 reference in a Jared comercial.

In a Jared Jewlers comercial a guy named Dave gets in his car and the GPS system turns on saying he went to Jared. The system then asks to see what he got from the store. The guy asks the GPS system if they could go and it responds "I'm sorry Dave I can't do that".

Not another freaking "Jared" commercial. I loathe them with a passion. First we have the women being all superficial "He went to Jared" to them means they get stuff to wear. All the men are bitter and/or jumping all over themselves to congratulate the man who goes shopping at Jared as though it means anything.

I can't wait til that company is bankrupt and we never have another fucking "He went to Jared" commercial. Ugh. It's right up there with Billy Mays for most annoying commercials ever.

On a side note, apparently during the last shuttle mission, the station played the Blue Danube when the shuttle was on its approach and while doing its RPM (roll pitch manuever).
