10 random tracks on your media player

I've got some Arvo Pärt, Henryk Gorecki, Philip Glass, and Johann Johannsson on the drive, but with 15,000 tracks to go through randomly, the chances of hitting one of them are slim, I guess.

Alright, I'll have another go, too.

Nikolas Asimos - Kammia Fora (Ta Panorama)

Paul McCartney - Ode To A Koala Bear (Anthology)

Wings - Warm And Beautiful (At The Speed Of Sound)

Jamie Barnes - Wings On The Line

The Kinks - Set Me Free (You Really Got Me)

Love - August (Four Sail)

Jack White & Alicia Keys - Another Way To Die

John Lennon - Crippled Inside (Imagine)

The Vines - 1969 (Highly Involved)

Baiba Skride - Allegro Molto by Haydn (W.A.Mozart & M.Haydn Violin Concertos)

Miss You So Badly - Jimmy Buffett
Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go) - Dierks Bently
Running With the Pack - Bad Company
Me Wise Magic - Van Halen
That's Just Jessie - Kevin Denney
Wonder Why We Ever Go Home - Jimmy Buffett

Beat Up Subaru - Chris Daniels and the Kings
Almost Hear You Sigh - Rolling Stones
Change It - Stevie Ray Vaughan

Fix You - Coldplay
Missing You - John Waite
Baby One More Time - Britney Spears
Home - Michael Buble
Word Up - Cameo
Kiss the Rain - Billie Myers
More, More, More - Rachel Stevens
Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong - Joe Cocker/Jennifer Warnes
Perfect - Fairground Attraction
Addicted to Love - Robert Palmer

I find it mildly scary that I'm actually the second person to have a Rachel Stevens song in a randomised list of just ten tracks.

Anyway, you can definitely see my predilection for 80s tracks and cheesy music in the above short selection. Doing a Temis, and listing my most listened to top 10 is even more magnificent:

Hip to be Square - Huey Lewis & the News
Dancing on the Ceiling - Lionel Ritchie
Invisible Touch - Genesis
Semi-Charmed Life - Third Eye Blind
December 1963 - Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons
Learning to Fly - Tom Petty
Taking Care of Business - Bachman Turner Overdrive
Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis
You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC
Ever Ever After - Carrie Underwood
Harder, Faster, Better, Stronger - Daft Punk
And we all know how you dance....

:D

My most listened to consists of Eminem's Replase, then the next 10 is Arctic Monkeys' Humbug, then Just Jack's All Night Cinema, because they're my three most recent album purchases (in reverse chronological order) so I've been listening a lot to them.

Most listened to:

1. Serj Tankian - Money
2. In Flames - Alias
3. Girls Aloud - What You Crying For
4. Every Time I Die - Pigs is Pigs
5. Serj Tankian - Beethoven's C***
6. Nine Inch Nails - The Good Soldier
7. Girls Aloud - Can't Speak French
8. Every Time I Die - Apocalypse Now and Then
9. Nine Inch Nails - The Warning
10. In Flames - Dead End

Wow. I must have played at least half of those to death when I bought the albums. Although they are also all from 2007 and 2008 when I got my laptop, so clearly that was my only means of listening to them back then (no stereo in uni).

The first truly old song is 14th, and that's Puppets by Depeche Mode.

Oh, the most listened tracks too? Ok then.

*Bear McCreary - Heeding The Call (BSG Season 3)
*Bear McCreary - All Along The Watchtower (BSG Season 3)
*Flight Of The Conchords - Business Time
