Sure they do. Color is right there in your description. The red and blue in the Superman picture pretty much leaps off the page next to the more muted colors in the other pics.

They only leap off the page because his companions in that image are so extremely dark. Superman is wearing a very dark red and blue suit while standing in the rain and looking super serious. If that's as bright and colour as we're going to get then that proves my point.

Muted means "not bright".

Yeah, I think so too. At least the Aquaman image was brightened. The original image could almost be a black and white photo.

They've cetainly made them a militant group, it'll be interesting to see what Cyborg will look like in the movie.

Yeah, I agree. They've all been brightened. You can actually make out the blue and red in WW's armor and this is the first time I've even noticed the yellow in Aquaman's armor.

Even with the more muted coloring, it's still looking like a pretty darn fanciful and "superhero-y" group of characters to me. And they're almost certain to look even cooler sharing the screen together.

I don't really need every superhero movie to be done in the same bright and ultra-comic booky style as the Avengers or Guardians, personally. And particularly with the Justice League, I'd much rather see a more grounded, real world approach to those characters anyway (if only to make it feel different and unique from the Marvel stuff we've been getting for the last 10 years).

I also like the colors here, some of which have absolutely been fan-added (the yellow in the Batman pic was definitely not in the original). The palette is a good middle ground between the generic technicolor of the MCU (not that there's anything wrong with that) and the overwhelming blahness of MoS. We'll see how the actual movie shakes out, but based on the non-recolored pics, I'm not holding my breath.

Nice mash-up between the MOS suit and the DOJ suit. The DOJ suit is definitely a sharper, more vivd blue.

It’s the first time in history to have them both on the screen together, and I’m just excited to see those two up there… ‘Justice League’ is still quite a ways away. But I’m looking forward to it. Henry’s a sweetheart, Ben is a badass, so I’m really looking forward to when we all shoot ‘Justice League.'”

He added later in his EW interview, “There’s definitely a plan in this whole universe that [Zack Snyder] is designing and it’s amazing to be a part of it. I think everything that you see that is building, there’s a purpose behind the whole plan… What’s great about this is Zack, man. We don’t want to just reinvent it, but he’s a got a whole idea of what Aquaman should be and I’m really honored to be playing it. I’m excited for the world to see it.”

I didn't figure he'd have a big role to play in the movie.

However, Cavil's hair is off I think. It's way too Don Draper.*

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they were small roles just to kind of give us a bit of an introduction to the characters before JL and their individual movies.
