What? No comments yet? With that ending?
Meh. Barbara is such a weakling. Reminds me of my ex-husband. What she wants is to be the center of attention 24/7. Doesn't matter if it's a man or woman giving the attention. If she doesn't get it, she runs away. What a feeb. I thought it...
I am officially done with Barbara. What an emotional weakling. Boo hoo, Jim can't give you attention 24/7 while you smoke weed and drink all day. What a child. Let the affair with Essen begin.
I'm seriously liking the Alfred/Bruce dynamic.
If Madison Lintz hadn't been killed off as Sophia TPTB would have a hell of a problem by now. Just 3 years later the actress stands between 5'10 and 5'11 and her facial proportions have changed dramatically. Nobody would buy such a short amount of time passing if she were still in the role...
QFT.
In regards to this very specific definition-I must reiterate the following "couples"......
House and Wilson
Sherlock and John
Kirk and Spock
Bashir and O'Brien
Vorenus and Pullo
They truly fit the mold.
Bullock is an insufferable ass wipe.
Gordon is righteous without being sanctimonius. The comic book setting allows for such a heroic type. A distinct advantage.
Penguin's arc is the main storyline as I see it. Everything else falls under that umbrella story--the war between Mooney and Falcone, the police corruption, Jim's struggle to stay on the side of the angels...it all fits. Gotta wonder if Jim will try to elicit his help. Jim doesn't know...
Fair enough, but I enjoy this cast so much that I can't help but adore it. Even the Barbara actress was good this week.
Robin Taylor, though, he wows me every single week. He's almost sympathetic. Almost. Killing a cook for his shoes cedes the moral highground. ;) Watching his ascent...
Whoa! I didn't expect Oswald to reveal himself to Jim at the end like that. Intriguing. I liked the balloons. It's the Batman universe. Villains are larger than life. It's not Law and Order.
Selina rules.
Robin Williams' range as an actor was incredible. Watch his first appearance as the helium voiced Mork on Happy Days and then watch One Hour Photo on Netflix. Incomparable talent.
I was about to say the same thing. Nobody thought of House and Wilson? Wilson was the one person House genuinely loved.
And yes, Sherlock and John Watson from BBC's Sherlock are a bromance. Witness Sherlock's incomparably lovely best man speech at John's wedding if you are in doubt. I got...
I loved Rome, too, despite its obvious flaws. I think Gotham could be that successful if they deepen the writing to delve into Gordon's psyche and they need to expand on Penguin'a descent into criminal insanity. Both actors are soooo good. Barbara does seem like future refrigerator bait and...
Fascinating comparison to Vorenus and Pullo. McKenzie's intensity is reminiscent of Kevin McKidd. Unfortunately, Logue's Bullock isn't reminiscent of Pullo. The only male character who seems a plausible confidant/contemporary for Gordon is Bruce....in about 10 years when he's an adult.
I...
