New pictures for a new contest. The theme for this round: Hoshi through the dark mirror, also known as The Many Sides of Hoshi, or The Girl Next Door Grows Up And Takes Over The World, or Hoshi's Men, or ...
Vaugn Armstrong has the record for most parts played in Star Trek. In DS9 and Enterprise Jeffrey Combs played a lot of repeating characters.
Who was the first actor or actress in Star Trek to play more than one character and what were those characters?
Connor Trinneer was first. He took one look at the audience and started drinking.
The Duras Sisters followed later. Someone forgot to feed them so they resorted to feeding on the audience. After Lursa devoured this victim B'Etor came out into the audience and bit me on the ear. Seriouslly...
I really like what JB did with the role of T'Pol but my favorite Vulcan of the series is V'Lar, the ambassador played by Fionnula Flanagan. What do you think would change if she was the Vulcan assigned to Enterprise?
My first thought is maybe Archer would not make so many stupid decisions in...
A question I have that no one seems to bring up. How did the aquatics manage to build the biggest, baddest ships of the Xindi? How did they build anything? And if they got other Xindi to build them why didn't those Xindi steal the design and build the same formidable weapons on their ships?
I'm watching ENT again. Finished Season 2 DVD 1 last night. I just popped in S2D2 and sat down to watch when I noticed the lineup.
030 - A Night In Sickbay
032 - Marauders
033 - The Seventh
034 - The Communicator
Then I started to wonder, is this the worst DVD of Enterprise, or even the...
I'm watching Vox Sola and decided to do the text commentary version. I didn't think it was be interesting but it is pretty good. The bad thing, you cannot take your eyes off of the screne to type on the forum.
Did anyone notice in the opening scene that Trip opens a door by using the...
While watching the beginning of "Dear doctor" I was thinking "This has to be the worst opening every. Phlox feeding animals and chattering to himself. No suspense. Nothing to make me keep watching.
That made me wonder, what do others think is the worst opening and what is the best opening?
I...
Do you ever get something to eat and have the food remind you of Trek in some way?
Tonight at a restaurant I wanted to try something that I never had before and settled on Chicken Marsala. Something kept nagging at me then I had a flash of a Star Trek scene. Enterprise, pregnant Trip, eating...
Last night I finished my quest of watching all of star trek in 6 months. What a rush, literally. 29 seasons and 11 movies. I was watching a season a week on DVD and finished with a movie a night. For the most part I went in order except I got ST IX and X reversed and watched Data die before he...
Since there are some knowledgeable, intelligent and helpful people here I thought this would be a good place for a tips and strategies thread. It would be especially helpful to spread knowledge among the BBS Fleet. I did not play beta and am still learning a lot about the game but I will share...
Are any Enterprise fans going to play Star Trek Online? I know this is not the place to talk about the game itself, but I am just wondering if any of the fans here plan to play. If so, what server are you on and what character do you play?
I got my copy in today and will start the install...
I've been watching all the series on DVD and am half way through Voyager. I've noticed something about Voyager that had me thinking, "This has to be the most of any ST series."
Has anyone else noticed little things that seem to come in abundance in a series? Here's mine, unoffcial, and on...
Ever notice how many episodes dealing with battles or blockades in space adhere to a line? I first noticed this in TNG when the Federation set up a blockade to detect cloaked Romulan ships entering Klingon space. It was basically a line, fat in the middle, stretched out horizontally. Romulans...
First the forums go. Then two months ago the links to the episodes get messed up and you can only link to the first season of each series. If they are not going to maintain the sight they should take it down rather than make it suffer slow disintegration.
For each series was it better the second time you watched either again on TV or on DVD? For me going back to watch all of Trek on DVD was sometimes better and sometimes worse.
TOS - I cannot really say when I watched it a second time on TV but a couple years ago I bought the series on DVD. I...
It seems that every kid I know has the books. What really bothers me, it seems like CreationEnt has more 'cons for Twilight than ST, SG and other scifi shows combined.
I got an email from CreationEnt about Private Parties up for auction at the upcomming VegasCon. I'll avoid posting my negative thoughts about this new marketing ploy. What I do find interesting is the results of the auctions so far. There are 7 parties scheduled. One is with the boys of the...
I see a lot of post from people who like Enterprise that start out with "I know I am in the minority" or "I know most people don't like" but the numbers seem to say otherwise. Enterprise does well in polls like "Rate Enterprise" or "Which series would you like to see get another year." When you...
I'm going through the TNG DVD's and am almost through season 3. While watching "Yesterday's Enterprise" it hit me that Guinan, with her sense of things going wrong in time, would have fit in very well as a cameo in one of the time travel episodes of ENT. She was on earth during the time of Mark...
