The US has been doing it for decades.

S.J. Clarkson To Direct Next Star Trek Movie, First Female Director in (Movie) Franchise’s History

So... We went from "Quentin frakking Tarantino possibly/hopefully directing Star Trek 14" to "S.J. Clarkson (Who?) to direct Star Trek 14". Disappointing, to say the least.

    Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Maybe the E-A in the turnaround video was an early prototype and they did fix it. Because the E-A of the photo does look better. Here’s hoping.

Will Discovery stand up to repeat viewings as the others do??

Lost... IMO: First time viewing? Astonishing show! Repeat viewings (after it ended)? I’d rather watch paint dry.

Warner bros announce superhero films through 2020

True. But billion dollar comedies aimed at kids and pre-teens aren’t necessarily good comic book adaptations either.
  8. Captain of the USS Averof

Warner bros announce superhero films through 2020

When you have the same exact people who constantly piss over even highly acclaimed and iconic comic book movies such as Richard Donner’s Superman (1978), Tim Burton’s Batman (1989) and Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight (2008) it’s easy to recognize genuine comic book fans from the Disney fanboys.
  9. Captain of the USS Averof

  10. Captain of the USS Averof

Netflix greenlights new "Lost in Space"

It’s interesting that the failed remake TV pilot "The Robinsons: Lost in Space" (2004) starred Jayne Brook (Discovery’s Adm. Katrina Cornwell) as Maureen Robinson and Adrianne Palicki (Orville’s Cmdr. Kelly Grayson) as Judy Robinson.
  11. Captain of the USS Averof

The Lucas Special Editions... Now those were real crap.
  12. Captain of the USS Averof

Future of Paramount includes Star Trek tentpole

Like the article states, the upcoming Bumblebee Transformers movie, is very much steaming ahead. But Hasbro-Paramount are looking for a reboot of the franchise and that will probably happen with movie #7.

$9,000 for the Disco and $8,000 for the Shen? Give me two of each.
  18. Captain of the USS Averof

    Spock/Burnham

It wasn’t Spock. It was a Klingon altered to pass as Spock. "Spoq" if you will.
  19. Captain of the USS Averof

CBS-Owned GameSpot Reviews Discovery S1 [Video Review]

They’re owned by CBS and they still gave DSC a mixed review?
