I thought the original was boring. My cousin fell asleep halfway through it. Not so this time around. I loved it! I, too, recommend seeing it in 2D. I don't think we missed anything by not seeing it in 3D. You could tell which scenes had been reshot in 3D technology.
I was a bit disappointed...
Amazon wasn't offering the double disk Trek DVD for $10. I did pick up Terminator Salvation for $10. Got GI Joe for $14. I'll have to keep checking back, though.
The 2 hr premiere was the S1 finale & the S2 premiere.
I enjoyed the premiere. Still not liking Cara as much as Denna. We'll see how all of this plays out. I afraid they are going to suffer a sophomore slump.
I liked it. A lot. All of the characters were interesting, and the chemistry between Pete & Mika was great. It has an interesting premise. Can't wait for next week.
I agree. I got teary eyed. Not gonna lie. I thought it was incredibly touching.
I hope Marcus lives too. If not, he had a great redemptive arc.
There'll be a sequel. TS will make its money overseas.
No one. I liked the cast, and saw no reason for killing one off for dramatic purpose or to give Archer's speech more meaning. It felt sloppy, which is why I gave TATV the middle finger and didn't watch it.
Since the books say Trip isn't dead and I've never seen the Valentine, I'll stick to my belief Trip is very much alive at the time of this movie.
I am sad about Porthos, though. Bad Scotty.
As an Enterprise fan, I was thrilled (maybe giddy) with the Enterprise references. Finally some respect within the fandom. If they never mention any Enterprise again, I'm good with what we did get. Though, I must admit to wondering if T'Pol was on Vulcan at the time of its destruction and if...
I wouldn't miss him. I think the show lost a lot of its focus when he was made a regular. That said, he could do both. He isn't in every episode. He could disappear and return.
The Brothers seemed to be working in slow motion. Hell, I half expected them to climb into the barrels.
I really like Mike and his dad. I was worried they'd be eliminated, but they pulled it out.
This leg was kinda boring. Except for the redheads freak out over their cab. I swear that guy...
I thought Derek killed her, and the click was for our benefit only. He might have let her go. I guess. She wasn't a threat to John. She wanted him to kill Cameron. I think Derek was more hurt by the betrayal than his loyalty/love for John. I still don't get the different time lines when it comes...
Ballard doesn't know Caroline. He's created some image of her from the video. When he meets Rebecca, she's a docile housewife. We know this isn't her real personality either. Ballard already tried to get through to Caroline. She didn't even react when he was talking to her. Echo was programmed...
For all Derek's training, I'm surprised he hasn't figured out something isn't quite right about Jessie. He's suspicious of everyone. He killed Andy and he knew FutureAndy was his friend.
I don't think Jesse's doing any of this for John. She seems to hate him and Sarah. Maybe she hooked up with...
Better. I wasn't snarking as much during this episode. Eliza still has little to no range, but this felt more evenly paced when she wasn't annoying me with her blank doll routine. If they can rid themselves of that idiotic "did I fall asleep?" line, I would rate these episodes higher.
I like...
Seriously. I was so happy to see her go, and she went out fighting. Hooray! I wanted her to kill that Jesse bitch, though. Oh, well. One down, one to go.
