Impossibly Terminator's ratings have climbed AGAIN! A whopping 3.65 million! Last week was 3.50, before that 2.96 their low point. Might it actually get renewed?!

That is excellent news. Fox had better take notice!

^ We'll find out in May. I do recall, however, that Fox wants the ratings back in the 10 million mark. I just don't know if that includes DVR and Hulu or not.

Put the show not on Friday and not on Fox, and that might be achievable.

As to the final scene of the show, it makes me wonder if Jesse was in fact successful in her mission. John seeks comfort in his mother, another human, and not in Cameron.

I think she was partially succesful, in the sense that John seems bothered that he may be too 'aloof' in the future, surrounded by Terminators only. , He did ask Derek something to that effect, and he also seemed to wonder why Jesse did what she did.

Regarding the last scene though, John first looked at Cameron, looking for support (but she didn't notice, or pretended not to, or just didn't know how to act), then he went to Sarah instead.

Regarding the 10 million thing: no way TSCC can ever get that with live+DVR viewers (those might make 5 million, together). Did they ever get 10 million total viewers, after the pilot? I doubt it.

It's not something you see, it's something you hear. We got a "click" when Derek pulled the trigger, but not a "BANG!". I also suspected there was no bullet in the chamber.

But he didn't even pull the trigger all the way. He'd just put his finger on it and begun to take up the slack (and the sound effects people decided to put a light "click" sound over it). We never see him pull the trigger all the way.

I thought Derek killed her, and the click was for our benefit only. He might have let her go. I guess. She wasn't a threat to John. She wanted him to kill Cameron. I think Derek was more hurt by the betrayal than his loyalty/love for John. I still don't get the different time lines when it comes to Derek & Jesse, and I don't really care either. She annoyed me. She's gone, and so is Riley. Win. Win. I do like the fact the arc had a conclusion, and wasn't left hanging.

I somehow doubt that even the writers know if he killed her or not, guess it depends if the show gets renewed or not..

I think he let her go, and she just kind of fades into the crowd for the rest of her life/until Judgement day

They clearly left it wide open for her to return, so the way I see it is that Derek let her go. No body, no kill.

If the show would be renewed (fingers crossed...), we will probably see Jesse back if they can get an agreement with Stephanie Jacobson.

If not, what Sephiroth said.

I think he let her go.

The last several episodes have been great, IMHO. This one included.

:techman:

Perhaps Jesse's fate is like Juan Rico's in Star Ship Troopers, the book I mean, which is written like a personal journal, and ends right before the big conflict on Klendathu, so its a toss up between believeing that Rico died in the campaign, or survived and didn't bother to write any more, but I personaly believe that he died.

The mission on the sub, was that before or after Judgement Day? Humans and machines worked together??

After "J Day".

The Resistance is using Terminators who were captured and re-programmed: Arnie in T2, Arnie in T3 (alright, that's not part of T:SCC's canon), Cameron, the Sub captain etc.

Or are you referring to John Connor's "Will you join us?" question? Well, maybe we will find out more about that in later episodes...

Okay, my question was answered after I asked it..lol I didn't finish watching the episode first..lol

So was the liquid terminator the one from T-2?

-Chris

^ We don't know who she is. She could be the T-1000 from T2 (I highly doubt it), Catherine Weaver (a possibility), or another T-1000/T-1001 series.

So, one question is, was the T-1000/1001 being taken to Connor against its will? Or was it basically just a passenger? My guess is the latter, but I don't get why it needed to be in the case. Was that just to keep the crew from noticing?

My guess is that Jesse is dead, but they left it ambiguous enough that if the show is renewed and the writers feel like they have a good reason to bring her character back (not sure why) they can show her to be alive.

I see next week Sarah is already dealing with cancer?

So a bit of action gets put back into the show and the ratings rise? Who would have thought? ;)

Not that much action, really, apart from Queeg's face-splitting.
