Maybe the series will end with Pope waking up in bed with Suzanne Pleshette. "Honey, I had the strangest dream...."

Wait...since Pope used to be Major Davis, he should really wake up in bed with Janet Frasier!
Yea, he's a great, versatile actor, often difficult to recognize, until you really get to know him.Maybe the series will end with Pope waking up in bed with Suzanne Pleshette. "Honey, I had the strangest dream...."

Wow --I did NOT realize that! He's doing a great job acting, and thanks to Falling Skies for giving him such a distinct character!

"All you humans know is war. Why can't you give peace a chance like the alien forces who showed up and wiped out most of humanity?"
Three recognizable deaths and I didn't feel anything for any of them, which is a bit disappointing since two of them had some real potential. The third dath, I guess they finally gave up trying to figure out what to do for her so they gave her a more random and meaningless death than Tasha Yar.

Exactly!!! Did they forget to tell Lexi that the billions of dead humans and destroyed cities that are all around are because of . . . you know . . . the alien invasion???

I'm glad they finally got rid of Lourdes. Her character had promise in the beginning but then became the "flavor of the day" with each storyline. Out of all the people who should have put a bullet in her head they had Lexi kill her . . . okaaayyy. "Don't worry, I can take away all this pain you have . . . by killing you. And this is because you have been such a faithful and loyal servant."
I like how Hal has become the douche of the day. Nothing like some forced character drama. Lexi was reading their minds, has incredible power but . . . they could have just marched in and killed her right? Sure Hal, sure.
And what was the point of the whole "Look mom, I chose you. You are the one I needed." to save Anne and then telling her mom . . . "Oh you misunderstood, mama. I really meant that I need my ALIEN overlords. They are my real family."
But by far the BEST PART of the episode was setting up for this major last stand battle and then cutting it short because they blow up a gas line. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? So the utility company is still pumping gas through the line of a city destroyed by alien attack years ago?!?!
That had to be the biggest WTF moment of the year. Not only did this gas not dissipate when the main was probably breached in multiple locations, connecting lines broken when buildings collapsed, etc, but gas was being pumped at such a high pressure to send enough gas out to destroy an entire street (filled with many people already behind cover because . . . you know . . . there's a firefight going on.)
This show is such a train wreck its become a comedy.
It's too bad the Espheni overlord can dodge bullets but can't move fast enough to get out of the way of a flame thrower.
