Well that was a very hot opening scene..

And then in the end, the terrible shock..

NOooo not Eric, not Eric NO :(

I guess a bunch of stuff happened in between those two things but it was kind of a garbled mess.

Yeah, but Sooki's "Gee willikers! I'm choosing my dress in my undies and going out with Vampire Bill!" flashback was hilarious.

    As was Pizza Forensics.

Yeah, that was weird. Overall it was a so-so episode. So what's up with the vampire who was feeding on Arlene? Did she just happen to succumb to the disease at that moment or is there something about Arlene that accelerated it?

haha yeah it seemed like Arlene poisoned her. Maybe Arlene's blood will prove to be the holy water of blood and everyone will need an Arlene transfusion to save themselves. Arlene will become a weapon.

At least we know Eric would never have the poor taste to drink from Arlene so he is safe(ish).

I guess they really wanted a reason to rationalize keeping her whiny ass on the show the entire run. :)

They are all whiny. That's what wears me down.

Really would like to watch it with only the Pam and Eric parts

Arlene is way worse than the others, though. I think its mostly the screeching voice and the even-though-I've-seen-it-all-I-still-act-surprised-by-everything crap.

It took me a while to realize that the leader of the vamps at Fangtasia is one of the interns from Bones.

And, meanwhile, the peasants are gathering up their torches and pitchforks and playing with guns. I'm rooting for the vampires.

That's exactly what I thought for last week! The way they've been surrounded by vampires for years and yet...

Another thing I noticed I when Sookie was reading the diary and she got to the current events it was in 2011, thereby placing them in 2011. I guess it make sense since most of the seasons were right on top of each other, except when Sookie was in fairyland for a year and the 6 month or so gap between seasons 6 and 7. So it looks like the 7 seasons of the show happen in about a 3 year period.

That's what the fast forward button is for! (and I suspect I may be using it for just this purpose a fair bit this season!

I love the Eric and Pam stuff, though am I right in assuming we had never heard of Sylvie before this?

Okay I looked it up and yes, first time we heard of her which I explain away :: waves hand :: by remembering that Eric is 1000 years old and how are we expected to hear of all these beautiful lovers that meant something to him?

Jessica's boyfriend, well I'd pick LaFayette over Jessica any day. Jessica is pouty and whiny and tormented.

And the death.. just didn't care. I'm off to look at fandom now though, I'm sure a lot of people are very upset.

BUT. If anything the other lesser character death was more of a shock!

Hey! What if they kill a couple people off ever episode! They just might do that..
