FYI: Today is street date for the Guardians of the Galaxy Legends figures. Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, and Nova seem to already be proving to be the difficult ones to find. Man the case pack on these is moronic.

2x Cosmic Armor Iron Man (not even in the movie)
    2x Starlord
    1x Gamora
    1x Drax
    1x Rocket Raccoon
    1x Nova

Let's shortpack half the team! Alright! Hooo boy. These are gonna be fun to find.

Cosmic Iron Man is the comic figure included in the pack. Not sure why the felt the need to include him, although I suppose at the time they were putting the line up together Tony was in Bendis' book.

Yeah, both Cosmic Iron Man and Nova are comic based figures. I'm just rolling my eyes at the decision to pack the non-movie character at two in a case, while most of the actual movie characters only get one.

Dammit! Just last week I finished the Spider-Man line's Ultimate Green Goblin build-a-figure! Finally found Arachne at the Wal-Mart in Cleburne! Still haven't found Carnage or Black Cat. But I did get all the others.

Got the Captain America line's Mandroid, too, without havin' to worry about the AIM or HYDRA soldiers (got Red Skull & Baron Zemo instead).

Now I gotta worry about Groot?

Continuing the X-Men invasion of the Shelf Avengers- I just ordered an older version of Nightcrawler. (Toy Biz, not Hasbro). He'll be a fun addition. He has a bendable tail!

Thought about getting the new Marvel Select Nightcrawler- but he's UGLY. He's never ugly in the comics!

The Marvel Legends Nightcrawler? That was an amazing figure. Still the best version of Kurt ever made.

I've got the one based off his appearance in X2: X-Men United. Goes well with the others from the first & third movies.

No, it's the Uncanny X-Men version. Not as good as the Marvel Legends, but I didn't want to pay the extra $ for that one.

Still trying to get my hands on a 6” Black Series Stormtrooper at retail. Man, that thing is even more elusive than I thought it'd be. I might just have to give up, order online and pay higher prices.

Its from the rebooted comic storyline that started with last year's free comic book day, where Iron Man left Earth to join the Guardians of the Galaxy for awhile.

Its no different from the Marvel Legends line includin' Baron Zemo, AIM & Hydra soldiers with the characters from Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Carnage, Toxin, Black Cat, Arachne & Superior Spider-Man with characters from The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

All-new loose pictures of four of the figures in Black Series Wave 4 (3.75").

The Snowtrooper Commander and Toryn Farr are looking pretty great, as is the new Dagobah Yoda's head sculpt (very much like the original Frank Oz puppet), but his body has just five points of articulation (whereas some past Yodas sold for a premium price had upwards of 14) and the new Luke's arms are still causing a lot of debate and controversy. Overall, though, the wave looks very solid.

It'll also contain Black Series repacks of the Vintage Collection Dak Ralter and Bastila Shan (both figures with updated and slightly different paint apps).

Bedtime for the Shelf Avengers! Inspired by the book narrated by Samuel L. Jackson.

I know, I was just joking that for we all know Tony Stark/Iron Man could be in GotG (in the same way Captain America in Thor 2 and Bruce Banner in Iron Man 3 had unexpected cameos)

I seriously, seriously doubt it though.

I feel ya. But are you at least seeing some of the new wave? I went to my local Target last week, and they still only had the same Greedo and two Leias they had the last time I was there a few months ago. :(

I've seen the Episode III Obi-Wan and Bespin Luke several times each, so yeah - I'm spotting the remnants of Wave 3, but it's not that common yet. Most of what I'm still seeing are the older R2-D2 and Han Solo.

I've actually seen the 6" Black Series Stormtrooper several times both at my local Toys R Us and Target--but only because I'm not interested in getting one, of course. If I was, I would never have seen it once (like I haven't with the figures I do want)...

    :sigh:

It'll be carried forward and appear again alongside Boba Fett, the new ROTS Anakin and the new Phase I Clone Trooper in one of the next 6" wave assortments so I imagine it'll get easier to find as time passes, but even as a carry forward making an encore appearance it won't last very long. Timing is everything with some of these figures.
