Images for the prototypes of Hasbro's 3.75" TRON figures have surfaced, but since these are part of a Haslab that is failing and harder than any other Haslab yet mounted these may be as close as fans get to owning new 3.75" action figures from the original 1982 movie.

I'm quite bummed right now. This coming weekend I'll go to the Stuttgart Comic Con, and David Bradley of GoT and Doctor Who fame had been announced to be attending, and would be signing autographs.
I like to get those convention celebrities to sign action figures of their characters, so I went ahead and bought the only action figure I could find of Bradley, his First Doctor variant, which was only released in a box set with a Tardis. And, of course, it's only available on the collector's market online, and only from the UK.

You can imagine, it wasn't cheap. Including shipping to Germany, it was more than €120.

And I just found out that Mr. Bradley had to cancel his appearance in Stuttgart.

Now, obviously I don't blame the man, or the organizers of the convention. Guest Stars cancelling happens all the time, and especially with people as advanced in age as Mr. Bradley. I get it.

Still sucks a lot. I mean, yeah, I still have an awesome collector's piece on my shelve, but it could have been a signed awesome collector's piece.

And now I'm in Stuttgart and the Kraglin figure I bought for Sean Gunn to sign is on my desk at home. This year's Con is cursed, man!

I guess I'll be searching the comic vendors for a suitable Comic with G.I. Robot or Maxwell Lord on the cover.
