haarp being retired

Should we be worried?

There was no reason to be worried when it was active, much less a reason once it's dismantled. You personally could take a tour of the facility if you wanted to during its open house days, and many reporters, scientists, and foreign dignitaries have done so by request throughout the rest of the year. Its findings on ionospheric research are routinely published in public scientific journals.

All the conspiracy nonsense that has arisen from this facility has been bizarre. I can at least sort of understand the people who get paranoid over Area 51 and similar facilities, because they're totally closed off to the public and those without clearance, but HAARP is very accessible to both visitors and people who want to learn about it online, and its purpose is fairly innocuous and limited.

Besides, people should be thankful that HAARP has perfected the features of Mikkos Cassadine's plot to freeze the world and COBRA's Weather Dominator. It might be our last best hope at reversing the worst effects of Global Warming.

Global Warming is intentionally caused by the Shadow Government. And HAARP is "being retired", not being retired.

As the head of the Shadow Government, I assure you HAARP was not used to control the climate or to cause hurricanes, nor it would be used for those things now that it is formally retired. We cause hurricanes with a death ray from the Moon. Thank you very much for your understanding and for not misrepresenting our work in the future.

The US Air Force has announced it will dismantle HAARP, since it has better ways to accomplish its mission.
That's good.

Should we be worried?

Yes, but only until some geek finds a way to stop them from accomplishing the mission that works just as well as the countermeasure against the HAARP-rays; the tin-foil hat.

Plausible.

Deniability.

Why are we all still HAARPing about this...

Now that just HAD to be said... :guffaw:

And just where in the HELL am I gonna hang my clothes to dry now?...huh?

Seems to me, if the USAF is determined, all those antennae could be put to good use, each tasked with broadcasting its own episode/movie/Special of Star Trek, 24/7...other shows could be added for a premium...but only good shows...certain good shows...not the bad ones...just the good ones...
