A Hopf acoustic guitar built in 1972. Found it in a horrible condition and bought it for about $250 - it's worth a good 5000 now I had it restored. But as this was a case of love at first sight I'd never dream of selling it, even if my life depended on it.

I like big, shady oaks and sycamores. They remind me of summer camp.

The Godfather of Gore Speaks, about schlock exploitation filmmaker Herschell Gordon Lewis. (Yeah, I'm weird.)

One time at Boy Scout camp, a bunch of asshole kids were teasing a hive of bees (or maybe they were yellowjackets, I don't remember). I was just sitting around minding my own business, so of course I ended up getting stung. Right under my eye. It swelled up and I couldn't see out of that eye for two days.

It's hard to pick a favorite, but I'd have to say My Fair Lady or Carousel. Then there's Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, Mame, Damn Yankees, The Pajama Game, Sweet Charity -- hell, I can't choose just one.

An American Literature survey course with a professor who looked like Hal Holbrook and sounded like Jack Palance.

I was sitting in traffic on the way to work on Route 80 in Carlstadt NJ. It was a perfectly clear day and I could see the Towers. Saw the first tower get hit, got to work and told everyone I think an Airplane hit the World Trade Center. We started to listen to the radio for news updates, while I was trying to get a hold of my fiancee at the time. She worked in the South Tower of the World Trade Center, she was a Stockbroker. After many attempts to reach her and the second Airplane hitting the other tower. I eventually left work and went to my parents house, hoping that my fiancee was okay. Around noon that day, she finally contacted me. She walked from WTC to midtown with others she worked with. She got onto a train that took her to Edison NJ, where I picked her up. She was covered in dust and I got her home.

Ash, its what the best baseball bats are made out of.

Teaching on the fifth floor of a middle school in Queens, with a full view of Manhattan from my window. I didn't see a single frame of television footage until later that day. I saw the whole thing happen with my own eyes. :(

I swear it was a normal day at my grandmothers house and all the family was there. I was running around with my cousin and I stopped in the back yard and next to the oil drum where my grandfather burned trash was this rabbit. I was like 8 but I stood there just looking at it until my family called for me and I ran back in the front yard. I told them what I saw and my cousin, uncle and dad came around back and there was nothing there. :shrug:

ETA: This was in West VA if that helps. Probably not! LOL.
