Skin Tight Space Suits 'support astronauts' bones'

One of my favorite scene involving Troi was when Jellico told her to put her boobs away and dress like a damned Starfleet officer.

Speaking of Troi and her boobs hanging out; it's no wonder Barclay had weird sexual issues that involved her.

I forgot all about that Jellico bit and excitedly went to look for the quote at Mammary Alpha. They have it, but it isn't quite as colorful as you remember. :(

Regarding Barclay having issues over Troi's splendid bod, I would bet that by the time of TNG, Gene Roddenberry's vision of Improved Future Man included no longer getting excited by the female form. If children were to feel no grief over the death of their parents, what human feelings are left? Fortunately, TNG seldom took GR's weirder and more harmful ideas too seriously.

Actually, Roddenberry was for polygamy and humans being absolutely relaxed and comfortable about their sexuality. That's also why there's a guy in the background wearing a skirt.

I don't think skin-tight clothing is healthy. Blood-circulation helps prevent a lot of unhealthy conditions, and clothing that is too tight might interfere with proper bodily functioning.
Besides, all you're doing with tight clothing is pushing any body fat somewhere else--not eliminating it!
I say this with all sincerity, even though I am a green-blooded Vulcan male and am heterosexual.
Some of the tight outfits the female crewmembers wear are enticing, but they are also distracting. Engineering is a dangerous enough area of the ship, without being distracted by...well, you know.

But is it "logical" to have them modified in such a way as to appear ... unnatural? Breast enlargement techniques and materials have vastly improved in the next hundred years, surely! Unless the fakeness of her implants was some sort of a "statement," which she's young enough, perhaps, to have wanted to make about something. What that statement is, I haven't the remotest idea, except perhaps to emphasize her honesty about herself: "I had my breasts altered and enhanced - so there!"

Actually it can be logical.

T'Pol knows humans to be shallow and superficial and she is assigned to work exclusively with humans, thus it is logical for her to assume she will be regarded better if she presents herself in a manner they find attractive.
