What season 5 ideas sounded most promising to you?

As much as I like having more Shran, Archer simply could not be his superior. It would seem disingenuous. Perhaps Shran could have commanded Andorian Marines, replacing the existing MACOs, thus serving as another precursor to the formation of the Federation. Or they could have made Enterprise part of a small interplanetary fleet, keeping Shran close at hand (along with a Vulcan captain). At some point, Enterprise would have had to expand beyond the one ship storytelling model in order to tell more ambitious stories.

That's exactly what the novels are doing, beginning with Enterprise: Rise of the Federation: A Choice of Futures.

T'Pol is captain of the USS Endeavour and Malcolm is now captain of the USS Pioneer.

I like the Shran idea and having more MU episodes.

They were actually considering making the humans the cause of the Borg? Ugh, can anything in the galaxy not revolve around humans? The Borg are much cooler if they're something that generated on their own far away than they would be if they were some human accident.

You know that South Park episode with Steven Spielberg and Indiana Jones? Yeah, that, only with Rick Berman and the Borg.

Really? What could possibly make you want to see more of that bland character/horrible actress?
It would have resulted in less screen time for the bland character/horrible actor that is Scott Blakula?

Hoshi and Travis to have bigger roles and to be promoted.
And a romantic affair between the two of them would have been great too.

Steps taken toward the founding of the Coalition of Planets.
Didn't we get that in season four?

:)

TATV was dissappointing but not ridiculous.
No, it most definitely was ridiculous.

Having a dog command a starship would have been "spock brain" level of ridiculous.
TATV was a different kind of ridiculous.

The notion that a "hick" with no college education can be in charge of some of the most advanced and complex pieces of technology mankind has ever developed (like the warp core or transporters) is not just ridiculous, it's mind numbingly idiotic.

Eh, I could list at least half a dozen more examples of ridiculousness in TATV, but that's a deja vu I can do without. :shifty:

I doubt Hoshi would ever go for someone so... Boring.

^ You might not completely understand why a women selects a man to have an affair with.

Maybe he's hung like a stallion, if so she wouldn't care if he was boring

I always thought that a romance between the two of them was on the cards, but just never developed.

As for S5 developments. No to T'Pol being half-Romulan, maybe to the Kzinti (if the story was done properly), yes to the redesign of the NX-01 (so long as they got rid of the deflector on the saucer), maybe to Stratos (again if the story was decent), no to the Borg Queen (that makes no sense whatsoever), no to any more MU stories, maybe to Flint, and a big yes to Shran (especially if he came aboard as the ship's new Captain).

They should also have offered Martha Hackett a new recurring role as a Tellarite, as well as Suzie Plakson as the new Admiral the ENT crew have to report to, and any other actors known for multiple roles in Trek.

So basically, you're suggesting that women select men solely for their looks? Because model-type looks are the only thing Travis has got going for him. Other than that, he seems to be a serious contender for the title of the least interesting person in known universe.
