HAHA, that was brilliant, Brooker was on top form, so many great one liners, i am still chuckling over the pope resigning one, he used the withdraw method, pulled out early and left a big mess behind him. lol And good news, weekly wipe is back starting the 9th of Jan.
B b b b b b b but how can th th th th that b b b b b b be. lol Ronnie Corbet should have had a guest appearance and went into the shop to ask for fourk andles. lol
Just watched it, enjoyed it immensely. A world without Barry Shitpeas and Philomena Cunk is a world without sunshine.
Televised Mouth User and Amateur Expert. Plus: Hashtag Typist and Facebook Liker. Brilliant characters
Just caught weekly screenwipes, briliant stuff as usual, new stuff was Limmy, and i am glad to see somebody else, other than myself, worried about the state of the railings round Victoria park, and Philomena Cunk's insight into what is time could have easily passed for a horizion special. Roll on next week.
Ha, all that was missing was Brian Cox. Brian Cox and Philomena Cunk, sounds like the charactor names from a carry on movie.
Looks like Black Mirror is going to be a couple of episodes at different times rather than a series of three.
Oh, i wonder what that will turn out to be, Google privacy issue, Wiki leaks, Kinect 2 spying, private space travel...so many things it could be.
My fave is still Thing Discusser. I'll have to check out this new series. Didn't care much for the first Weekly Wipes, honestly. Charlie doesn't seem as funny since he got married.
He used to be much angrier, crap television shows and shoddy journalism genuinely appeared to make him upset. In recent years he has transitioned into a more world-weary persona, which I still find funny, but I must admit that I laugh less heartily than I used to.
Speaking of Brian Cox, he appeared to make a factual error in episode two of the latest series of Seeing Stars by stating that Mercury's rotation period is tidally locked to be the same as its year. In fact, it rotates exactly three times for every two revolutions. I'm glad to see the Prof is human after all or maybe I misunderstood his burbling. As for Brooker, as he's now part of the entertainment industry, so I guess he might blunt his barbs in case it affects his prospects for advancement and income. Or he's just gotten older and more boring like the rest of us.
