    That would be awesome.
Animal would have to be D'Argo.

I enjoyed the hell out of the series so much, I had friends over every week to watch two episodes at a time because I wanted other people to watch it, too.

I'm sure Disney would have no problem buying the rights to Farscape if they wanted to.

farscape was cancelled so that the SyFy channel could expand upon their Tremors movies with a live action series that was significantly cheaper to make and therefore logically MORE profitable than Farscape if they generated the same viewing figures.

Obviously you should watch Tremors first, becuase someone in a suit decided it was more worthy of life than Farscape, and therfore better.

Hopefully will get around to watching it again someday. In Australia the last season was savagely cut to fit an G-rated timeslot for a Saturday afternoon by the Nine Network who broadcast it (and I'm not sure if it ever turned up on paytv).

The nine network also co-financed the first season. They though "muppets = kids" and unlike the fans were not impressed with what they got which was okay - the fans were not impressed with the treatment it got from Nine (which also fucked up TNG/DS9/VOY and B5).

Farscape is a fantastic show. Probably behind Firefly in my list of "Shows I'm angry they cancelled".

It was weird when I was told Pilots secret identity.

Farscape is a wonderful show - one of my top 3-4 shows ever. That being said, at least it had 4 full seasons and a full mini-series to tell it's story which I feel it mostly got to do. Yes, a full season 5 would have probably been preferable, but given how hit and miss season 4 was I'm not so sure it would have the best thing for the show.

Firefly was screwed with out of the gate and given some the worst treatment I've seen by the networks to a show in a while. It's really too bad too, Firefly would have been Joss's crown jewel and a brilliant show filled with an amazing, talented cast.

At a Farscape convention a couple of years ago, Rockne O'Bannon mentioned that Brian Henson was deliberately holding onto the rights to the property, because he loves it so much and was (still) holding out hope that he may get to do something with it again in the future.

My favorite science fiction television show ever. If Firefly would have continued, who knows, but I love Farscape and rewatch it at least once a year and I've been catching the odd episode on Pivot as well. Also, comics!!

Don't forget it also got six four issue comic book miniseries, a 7 issue miniseries, and a 24 issue ongoing series. Most of them were overseen by Rockne S. O'Bannon, and are probably the only official continuation we're going get at this point. I haven't read them yet myself, but I plan to start them once I finish my rewatch of the TV series.

And most of those comics were written by TrekLit's own Keith DeCandido (who also wrote one of the official FARSCAPE novels as well).

I enjoyed the show. And perhaps it was just me but they at times at least attempted to put a new spin on an old story.
