Nimoy/Spock early promo pics

Looks like these might have been taken around the same time as the color pic on the side of the AMT model boxes in the 1970's, of Spock holding a different variety of lab equipment. I'd like to see a good quality image of that one too, but all I could find searching online (for the AMT model box side) was stuff that was very low res.

While searching for that, I also found this, the AMT 1/12 Star Trek Mr. Spock Lunch Box Tin, which I hadn't seen before.
Perhaps these Spock pictures are all in the same series.

Any photos of Kirk holding the ship wearing the "in between" costume? There are plenty from the regular series, but I cannot recall any from this specific, pre-series period.
Doing a little searching, at least one with Spock shows up, but I don't see any with Kirk until this season 2 or 3 promotional image.
He's not holding it, but both the model and Shatner appear in this early image (unless the ship has been added later?).

Thanks for the links, Harvey. While the 2nd season publicity photos are well known, it seems sort of odd that there are no pre-series images of Shatner holding the symbol of series. Perhaps those behind the pics wanted variety, or felt Spock -- the resident alien -- almost "showing off" the ship was more "science-fiction-y" for selling that end of the series.

What do you mean by "in between costume?" Was it actually worn in the series or only for promotion?
You start out with "The Cage" costume: Spock in blue tunic with no black collar, and a science insignia.
Then comes the "Where No Man" version: Spock and Kirk both in chartreuse with no black collar, and both have command insignias.
Then the "in-between" design has a tall black collar and straight-edged rank stripes on the cuffs. Worn only for embarrassing publicity stills.
Then comes the S1 uniform, with just a few tweaks and adjustments across the first few episodes.

Nope, that's not a bong. It's a Graham condenser used in a distillation apparatus.
A bong would be made from an Erlenmeyer flask with a side arm, a Hirsch funnel with a glass frit, and some miscellaneous other pieces.
In these series of stills Kirk is holding the phaser rifle from WNMHGB -- i.e. Kirk, the action hero, Spock the scientist.
