I forget who said it but an anthropoligist once said that humans are ~ 5-6 missed meals before social order collapses.

Well they've got more than enough farmland to survive on, if it came to that. Although it would still be nice to hear at least something about what their food situation is there.

When everyone got sick, I thought that was going to be because of the build up of carbon monoxide from all the cars. Is this not going to be a problem or is half the town just not going to wake up one morning?

Well, we know the dome is slightly porous to liquid water like sieve so maybe car exhaust and carbon dioxide and such are able to seep through it? That or maybe everyone is beginning to suffer from severe gas poisoning which would explain their behavior quite a bit.

Eh, the dome will make it rain from the sky when it's a dramatically tense enough moment to do so.

You can't imagine a condomnado or a diaphramicane?

I'm sure someone over at the SyFy Channel can.

Honestly I tried to like the show but frankly I have given up on it. I did not see the last two episode's; deleted them from the DVR because it doesn't seem to be going anyway. Just a bunch of melodrama and too much BS for me. I hope it gets great and I have to go back and watch it but to be honest I'm glad that I'm not wasting anymore of my time with this.

No, I agree. The show is a lot of melodrama and nonsense and I'm only watching because I get some fun out of bad shows and, well, Julia.

It's definitely not a great show, but it's a pretty decent guilty pleasure I think. Of course it probably helps that it's running during the summer when there aren't a lot of other options. Lol

Yes, she is the ONLY reason I have lasted this long; a really beautiful woman for sure. I can't stand "Jr." . . . or pretty much anyone else, lol.

The red-hair, man, all in the red hair. Her lovey-dovey post-coital scene in this episode was really worth the entire episode. :)

"Junior" needs to go away and I sure hope they're not trying to do a "character redemption" on him

Have they explained why no one tries digging out a shallow trench under the rim of the dome? It's not a sphere and appears to only penetrate the ground by a foot at most.

My eyes are getting the workout of a lifetime with all the constant rolling this show causes them but dammit I cannot stop watching the damn thing.

Actually, it is a sphere. It's encapsulated the whole area, not just put a dome on top of it. The Title's a misnomer.

Sure, if by "a foot at most" you mean "at least deep enough that some really deep underground tunnels were affected, too" and if by "no one tries digging out a shallow trench" you mean "they did try digging under it," you're spot on.

What I learned last night: You can blow up a well head and it will drain the well into a resevoir.

I have been letting episodes stack up, but this has prompted me to get caught up.
