PICTURE POST II!

What kind of public reception are the new Dutch royals getting? Are the younger generations over there more jaded and dismissive of a royal family or is there still a rush of patriotism and passion during events such as this?

Well...

That's cool and nice to hear. We occasionally hear stories over on this side of the Atlantic about how younger Europeans living in constitutional monarchies are growing less and less interested in the idea of maintaining a royal system within their respective countries and don't like the pageantry and history as much as their parents and grandparents do, preferring freely elected heads of state. You never know if there will be people protesting the system.

We do have Republicans here who want to make The Netherlands a country with out a monarchy, but they are a very small group...
Most people aren't Monarchists but it's part of our identity...

Got a Trek present through a reddit exchange. Pretty necklace! Comet and I were trying to decide who wears it better.
