I sometimes squeeze a bit of lemon or lime into a glass of water...I never thought of it as enhanced, though.
Cucumber slices are very nice as well.

It's called espresso, dear. As an Italian, I thought you'd know that. What about Augmented water?![]()
When I drink a beverage like iced tea or lemonade or Coke, it takes more of it to quench my thirst. So during the day I drink mostly plain water to replenish those precious bodily fluids.. . . Plain old water can be boring sometimes. I found it easier to drink more water if it was flavored, and I therefore stayed more hydrated.
I liked them better...when they were called Kool-Aid.![]()
You can get actual Kool-Aid in little squirt bottles now too.
...
I can't stand the term "water enhancer" or "flavored water." It's either water or it isn't. Coffee, tea, Dr. Pepper, grapefruit juice, beer, and wine are all mostly water, but no one would call them "flavored water."
I think the difference is that you're starting with a glass of water and just adding something to it.
This is completely incomprehensible to me, but to each his own, I guess.Plain old water can be boring sometimes. I found it easier to drink more water if it was flavored, and I therefore stayed more hydrated.![]()

I mean, I like plain old water just fine, but sometimes I want to drink something else. These "water enhancers" allow me to do that without adding a bunch of extra sugar or chemicals.
^ I love plain water myself. I sort of think it has a flavor, but a good one! And, when you're hot and thirsty, it tastes better than anything else!
What about Augmented water?![]()
Indeed.Wow! I agree completely with IT! That doesn't happen often!![]()
On the other hand, someone must mention that water is a chemical, too.Make no mistake, you are adding chemicals to the water. These "water enhancers" allow me to do that without adding a bunch of extra sugar or chemicals.
So this is basically just Squash concentrate, but sold in little bottles?
Doesn't seem like a particularly new idea to me, we have a huge section in every supermarket where you can buy them in BIG bottles.
