^ It would immediately give you a free pass to travel, live or work anywhere in the EU without a visa. Sounds pretty useful to me.
 
I know for sure I am 1/8 Choctaw. Besides that, I don't remember the percentages, but I've got some Dutch, French, and some other European ancestry in me. But at this point, I just consider myself "American," because one side of my family has so much Native American ancestry and the other side has been here since 1689.
 
I only recently found out about the Jay Treaty. It's pretty cool, but too bad it doesn't apply to everyone, everywhere.

I knew of the Jay Treaty. I didn't know this was part of it. Back in the day, it made more sense than today, but border restrictions on the US-Canadian border aren't all that significant.
 
I apparently am eligible for Italian citizenship if I go through a huge pain in the ass process that involves tracking down documents I don't own and translating them into Italian. I'm not sure what good that would do me, though.

Well, I have far more practical problems preventing me from going to Italy so, while dual-citizenship would be nice, I won't get to use it much. I'm not saying it's bad to be an Italian citizen :p
