PICTURE POST II!

Hills! ;)

These are mountains! Regrettably taken awkwardly with an iPhone through an airplane window, when I flew out of Seattle last month is was one of the most stunning take-offs I've experienced, with all the volcanoes visible:

I have just now realized that I have never actually seen a mountain.

So anyone who is in the Bay Area needs to go see the last performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's HMS Pinafore tomorrow at Stanford. This isn't the best picture, but they did an awesome job with the set design.

That's right, it was all TNG themed. Awesome and hilarious. I have a pic on the bridge in the captain's chair but I don't dare post that here!

That's so cool! They even have Picard's ready room door!

WOW! That is just wonderful Kestra, it's glorious!!

Yeah, I'm really glad I went to the meetup. One of the people there had a cousin who was the set manager and let the whole geek meetup up on the stage after. It was awesome. I also met a girl there who is a fellow Trekkie and claimed her as my friend. :p

The show was hilarious. There were tribbles, references to Cardassians being spoon heads, a "viewscreen" projected onto a wall with lyrics, a bat'leth, etc. I would have taken more pics but I didn't want to be disruptive during the performance.

Please tell me Boston is next on their national tour

She was awesome. She adored the t-shirt I had on. Her quote - "My husband". It was a classic. I picked the t-shirt up that morning, as I had my 1995 trek polo shirt on before. It's starting to come apart, but I can't throw it out.

One of the things I love the most about Terry Farrell is how joyously she embraces the fans and will make comments like the "my husband" remark about Elim's shirt. Sometimes an actor will sign autographs and make appearances but shy away from jumping into the lore and smacking fans on the back. Terry seems to realize that she's always going to be Jadzia, accepts and loves it and is going to have as much fun as humanly possible.

Look at her smile. That's a woman who loves what she does and loves the fans.

^ Reminds me when she played the Cat in the American version of Red Dwarf. She played it as a literal cat-creature, with fur and a tail and all that. I could TOTALLY see her playing the Cat just like Danny John-Jules did though. :guffaw:

The huge Roanoke Star, a staple attraction of southwestern Virginia and the Eastern seaboard since Thanksgiving of 1949.
