I think TBS’s comment is a reasonable (satirical, but fair) description of how a thread like this might be received if it were posted in TNZ instead of Misc. I don’t understand your response.

IMO, TNZ and humor threads don't go over very well. But then, Misc and threads on serious topics don't seem to go hand in hand either. Would be nice if we had a forum to discuss serious issues and debate without debates delving into mindless flame wars.
But then, that was tried in the past and didn't work out for some reason.
