With the trailer out why are they keeping the villains ID secret?

TrekMovie has apparently identified Cumberbatch's character:

Funny thing, is that there's a character with that last name that mentioned in passing by Kirk in a TOS episode.

William B. Harrison was the flight controller of the SS Beagle from "Bread and Circuses", who died in the arena. He's the only Harrison I know of from TOS.

I vaguely remember seeing the other guy named Harrison who served on the Enterprise in at least one episode, but never knew he was called that in "Space Seed" until now.
