That's some incredible progress. Your project is giving me a whole new appreciation for the Voyager bridge, which was never one of my favorites (I think from a decor standpoint it was too busy with all the brushed steel accents, and I don't think they filmed it very well much of the time).

Viewscreen went in today. It has transpired that I'm probably going to have to re-do the entire ceiling from scratch, as some key parts don't line up properly and it'll be easier to start again with that than try to fix what I have so far. So whilst I recover from the rage, I'll work on other parts :)

I've also uploaded what I have so far to 3D warehouse, check it out...

-Forward handrails added
-Ready room/conference lounge doors added
-Front 'alcove' station fleshed out (need modifying slightly, the stations sticking out are too long and rake back too much imo)
-Alcove geometry tidied up significantly
-Detailing around upper walls (either side of viewscreen) added and tidied
-RR/CL door frames modified slightly (not visible)
-Rear most handrail raised by just under a foot to bring it to the correct level

Next big thing I think will be re-doing the viewscreen, it needs to be wider.

Lewis.

Spent the last hour or so knocking a corridor section together, just for a break from the bridge, so far so good I think.

I agree that the viewscreen should be a tad bit wider.

Corridor looks great some far - can't wait to get my hands on it when you're done :)

I've done some 3D games design and modelling in the past, but what you have done is mind blowing, well done!

What sort of time frames are you talking about for designing a piece of those? For myself its weeks at a time to get anything decent right.

Great job!

Thanks!

The whole bridge is about 4-5 months work now, granted its been a bit on and off though, but yeah it takes a long time. The biggest challenge is that I'm having to do everything from screencaps with very few reliable measurements to work from. So half the time I model something, then down the road it doesn't line up with something else right and I have to bin it.

Here's 2 quick renders of where things are so far, I've only just started Tom's console so that's very rough at the moment...
