Green Arrow (CW)

^Yeah, that doesn't affect my hope.

I personally think the "Speedy" reference was a throw away bit for the comic fans. I seriously doubt she'll end up as a side kick.
Just pointing out that Merlyn has a Luthor like relationship with Green Arrow in the comics.

I'm more interested if this version of Dinah will become Black Canary.
I read any interview with Katie Cassidy a couple weeks ago, and it sounds like they don't have any plans (at least that they want to announce) for her to become Black Canary in the near future, but she didn't totally rule it out.

I didn't expect it to happen in the first season, wouldn't make sense to turn the start of Arrow in an origin story for Black Canary but I really hope they do it in a later season. Why call the character Dinah Lance if she will never be Black Canary?

The 'When will Dinah Lance become Black Canary?' question will become the 'When will Clark Kent put on the suit?' of the series. :p

I like that they aren't shying away from the more comic book style costumes.
Yeah, they seem to be doing a pretty good job of staying close to the comics, but still bringing in a fair amount of realism. I'm curious to see what their Huntress will look like.

Oh.

(I misread what you said for a second.)

The Question?

Even if they didn't get Jeff Coombs to reprise the role

(Youtube adventures as well as JLU.)

A conspiracy nut with no face who's on the money.

The Answer is a Marvel Comics villain, and the Question is a DC comics Superhero.

It's very rare, conflicted and expensive for the two of them to cross paths.

My wife and I decided to give it a try last night not expecting much and we both really enjoyed it. It was much darker than we thought it would be but it was a refreshing change of pace from Smallville.

One thing we were wondering is if Diggle will become his "sidekick", what with the military background and all.
While that is a cool idea, for people who know the story it's pretty clear that if he does get a sidekick, it's going to be Thea.

And it turns out my theory about John Barrowman being Deathstroke was wrong.

Well, sidekick may not have been the best choice of words. I see him becoming more of a Lucius Fox/Alfred type.

Black Butler?

I used to love it on Soap whenever the doorbell would ring and everyone would look at Benson, and Benson would look back at them like he didn't know why they were looking at him, and then he'd say "Do you want me to get that?"

EVEREYDAMNTIME!

What did you think of Deathstroke on smallville?

Seriously.

Smallville has set the bar so low. :)

The only thing that could cause this show to fail is if 90 percent of it's audience is too young to remember Smallville.

Smallville? The teen show that just happened to use the occasional comic character to justify the name?

Compared to Arrow, the teen show so afraid of comics that it only used half it's name?

I laughed when I saw that some of his feathers in his arrows were yellow.

Not only is he not called Green Arrow, but he's not using Green Arrows.

Let's see where they'll take the show.
After the Green Lantern clusterfuck I'd also try my hardest to distance my show from that train wreck.
