Just pointing out that Merlyn has a Luthor like relationship with Green Arrow in the comics.^Yeah, that doesn't affect my hope.
I personally think the "Speedy" reference was a throw away bit for the comic fans. I seriously doubt she'll end up as a side kick.
I read any interview with Katie Cassidy a couple weeks ago, and it sounds like they don't have any plans (at least that they want to announce) for her to become Black Canary in the near future, but she didn't totally rule it out.I'm more interested if this version of Dinah will become Black Canary.
I didn't expect it to happen in the first season, wouldn't make sense to turn the start of Arrow in an origin story for Black Canary but I really hope they do it in a later season. Why call the character Dinah Lance if she will never be Black Canary?I read any interview with Katie Cassidy a couple weeks ago, and it sounds like they don't have any plans (at least that they want to announce) for her to become Black Canary in the near future, but she didn't totally rule it out.
Yeah, they seem to be doing a pretty good job of staying close to the comics, but still bringing in a fair amount of realism. I'm curious to see what their Huntress will look like.I like that they aren't shying away from the more comic book style costumes.
While that is a cool idea, for people who know the story it's pretty clear that if he does get a sidekick, it's going to be Thea.My wife and I decided to give it a try last night not expecting much and we both really enjoyed it. It was much darker than we thought it would be but it was a refreshing change of pace from Smallville.
One thing we were wondering is if Diggle will become his "sidekick", what with the military background and all.
And it turns out my theory about John Barrowman being Deathstroke was wrong.
Looks like they've put a lot of work into it. Let's hope the writers will do just as good of a job.
Let's see where they'll take the show.Compared to Arrow, the teen show so afraid of comics that it only used half it's name?
I laughed when I saw that some of his feathers in his arrows were yellow.
Not only is he not called Green Arrow, but he's not using Green Arrows.
