Your latest purchases, cont.

I got some early b-day money, and ended up ordering from amazon: 52 volumes 1 & 2, Spider-Girl volume 1: Legacy (collecting issues #0-5), Justice League of America: The Lightning Saga TPB, and Batman: The Animated series Volume 3 DVD. I also ordered more stuff earlier. My b-day isn't until tomorrow, but this has been a good year.

Some light snacks and diet soda.

I bought chicken bullion and half&half to make cream broth, and pears for boiling and bananas for mashing. It looks like it will be a week or two before I can manage solid foods!

Ugh...hang in there. Do you have the temperament and patience for that kind of a wait?
HA! I've taught emotionally disturbed kindergarten through second graders in the South Bronx. Do I have patience? I'm a fucking Buddha!

;)

Hell, if you're from bustling New Yawk you've had the patience of a saint since you were a zygote. :p

Last week I bought a black pullover, a black hoodie, a new pair of shoes, a Perry Mason novel, the Wordsworth Library edition of the Complete Stories of Sherlock Holmes, an 18-DVD set of Tom & Jerry cartoons and the usual groceries. Among the latter, I found my new favorite chocolate flavor:

A canvas shop was having a sale so I got one of the TOS cast! I'm putting it in spoiler code because it's a bit big.

:D

An Obama 2012 yard sign.

I felt compelled.

Got mine, too. And a bird promptly pooped on it.

Got some cute stuff at Charming Charlie's yesterday- they had necklaces 5 for $1, and I also bought a necklace display. Too much jewelry and not enough places to hang them!

I'm still waiting for my tailor to get a specific fabric book in stock so I can look through it to order a new suit, so instead I picked up some bargains in more mainstream shops:

- a v-neck sweater in a leafy shade of green. Should go well with mid-greys and with a good range of blues. Possibly browns/tans too (I'll have to experiment) so very versatile. And I got it for about 25% off, which is always a nice bonus. From the Gap, but actually nice for the price.
- a pair of 511s from the Levi's shop. I don't wear jeans often as I struggle to find a cut that suits me, but these look OK I think. Better than my current pairs anyway, so I'll probably rotate those out of the wardrobe in favour of these once I pick them up from being hemmed.

A productive day's shopping, I think. :)
