I found it odd that Queen Whats'ername adapted so quickly to the alien environment. Did anyone else notice th--

Oh.

The Doctor is not a signatory of the shadow proclamation. hell they were surprised to find out that he existed, but that doesn't stop him from getting others to live up to obligations which they (or their representatives) signed up for.

Why are people so surprised that Nefertiti understood about spaceships etc?

She's probably already met the Goa'uld

Solomon was locked inside a ship about to be blown up which the Doctor actively caused the missiles to target and then actively did not save Solomon by helping him out of the ship, rather locking him in - and considering Solomon easily had his gammy leg kicked out from under him just before, it's not as if he was a physical threat.
Well, let's assume for a moment that the alleged murder happened in the jurisdiction of Earth and that both the Doctor and Solomon are persons within the meaning of Earth law.

A principle of murder is that the intention of the act was to kill the deceased. Since both the targeting of the smaller ship and the locking of said ship were for the purpose of saving the larger ship and not for the purpose of killing Solomon, there's really no issue here. Justifiable homicide, maybe. (Even an active killing of Solomon would arguably have been a justifiable homicide, as Solomon was an unrepentant mass murderer and would-be slaver who had committed an act of war against the Doctor's - and the Earth's - allies.)

Anyway, maybe (just maybe) the Doctor can pick him off the ship before it explodes. But I wouldn't make a habit of it. ;)

Or the Osirians that fought and subdued Sutehk. Plus, we don't know how much the Doctor explained to Nefratiti before she slinked her shapely way into the TARDIS. For all we know, he may have gone so far as to discuss his family on Gallifrey.

Besides, I've always been a sucker for lovely ladies in Egyptian garb. Dress one of the cat ladies from New...New York in similar attire and I'd probably, well, we won't get into that here.

Sincerely,

Bill

I actually think it would be kind of random and hilarious if, say, next season, something happens that puts the Doctor in a really good and forgiving mood, and he hops into the TARDIS, materializes inside Solomon's ship, and grabs him just before the missiles hit.

Heads Solomon, tails Adric.

Really? Because I don't like either option.

It was pretty good, but I'm just waiting for the drama to come back. It seems the seasons of late are more comedy/family kinda things than more serious drama. I want that.

The robots were hilarious by the way, as was the tri.

I'm expecting a TON of Eleven/Nefertiti "Missing Adventures" from Big Finish in about a decade (along with Eleven/River, Ten/Donna, and Nine/Sally Sparrow if they can ever bring Eccleston around).
