Ships of the Line Calendar 2013

The sideways format drives me crazy too. But at this point, I have to hangers in my wall, so I might just stick with them.

They're gonna stick with that format, come Hell or another Flood. Since I don't hang my copies up on any wall... *shrugs*

Anyways, they hit the ball out of the park again with this one. Lots of reinterpretations of classic designs, a new Probert painting, a couple of new ship classes introduced (including what looks suspiciously like a deuterium tanker), and I think someone actually did a Kirov-class ship for this one.

I like the sideways format- makes for bigger pictures. What bothers me is the calendar not having a seven day/weekly format. It makes it very non-functional as a calendar.

Are there any original pictures in it this year? I was under the impression it was all pictures from previous calendars.

^I'm glad Drexler pulled that off. I saw some of the images and I really like the selction. Still, I was waiting the past year for a refit Voyager image and this didn't happen so I'm very disappointed that Mark Rademaker didn't get his rendering into the calendar. Guess I have to hope for 2014.

A group shot of the "supporting cast" ships of Vanguard for my want list for next year, I'm thinking...and maybe a close-up for that deuterium tanker design from this year's calendar?

I definitely want to see that Voyager refit as well, but I'd really like to see what the ships in the Full Circle fleet look like..

Just got my hands on it this afternoon.

Your location tag says you're in Ottawa... if you don't mind me asking, where did you buy the calendar? My local Chapters have never carried the Star Trek calendars (of any line), so I usually have to wait until the Calendar Club kiosks open in the local malls, which IIRC is after Thanksgiving.

I always get the Ships of the Line calendar as a Christmas gift. For those who have it already, are the holes in the proper place this year?

Entertainment Ink at Place d'Orléans Mall. It's a comics/sports memorabilia/games shop. I was surprised to see them get the jump on almost everyone else in town that I knew of.

Collected Works Bookstore
can also get it for you, if it's not already in stock there.

^ Thanks for the info! (Sorry, I didn't explain myself well. I'm not actually from Ottawa; I was hoping you had got it from a chain store that would also have locations in SW Ontario, but it appears not. :) )

I'd also like to know that.

It's horrible in the 2012 calendar, always looks like its falling from the wall every moment; and I didn't want to pierce the genuine holes in it.

They could do a Voyager image once in a while, instead of doing three Enterprise-D, two NX-01, four TOS/TMP Enterprise and two or three fan designs.
