This entire incident, the media reaction and the inevitable blaming and suing of everyone involved has become a sick part of American culture.

One of the reasons gun owners worry about Obama is his statement to Sarah Brady that he was working on gun control under the radar...
And I'm sure you can provide a valid cite for that claim?
Allow me.
And for those opposed to anything FoxNews (don't really blame you), here are some others:
Politifact
Examiner
FreeRepublic
And there are a few others out there, but you get the point...

Edit: Then there's this curious link that says the administration's statement that Sarah Brady trumpeted was actually exaggerated by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence to make it sound like it had more support than it really did. Gotta love politicians...

And now it turns out that the federal government paid for the guns used in the Aurora shooting via a $26,000 NIH grant to the shooter - which he spent on guns so he could conduct his wacko social experiment. :wtf:
Obviously Obama provided the grant to buy guns so that he could exploit the incident to push through gun control.

I seen some of the people are starting to get lawyers together and are preparing to sue WB... Why would they sue WB??

The idea of suing WB is completely asinine to me. But this guy wants to do it. He blames WB for dramatizing the kinds of things that Holmes did, yet he paid to see the damn movie. Now paying for movie shouldn't put anyone's lives at risk or cause them trauma no matter what they are seeing.. but if you sue Warners you might as well sue any studio that puts out a film where someone uses a gun. It's BS.

Let's add to that the fact WB has been really great during this whole thing, not only holding back on revealing the BO take of the film, but also offering to donate considerably funds for recovery efforts. And I'm sure Bale's visit had to have the blessings of the studio somewhere along the line.

It's part of his redistributionist worldview. The Sinaloa cartel that DOJ was arming was made to pay for most of their guns, but not everyone is an ultra-rich psychotic murdering drug cartel member. Some psychotic murders can't afford the high-end equipment, and that's where the government can lend a hand and ensure equality of access.

Part of what government can do for small-town America is to take bribe money from the Sinaloa Cartel (for providing them guns and cracking down on California's medical marijuana industry which is cutting in to Sinaloa turf), and use it to help small-time psychotics who don't have insider ties to big drug cartels, child slavery rings, international arms smugglers, or the African diamond trade. This can help them start a crack business, a meth lab, or gain notoriety by gunning down random people.

The same style of community organizing that made Chicago such a thriving criminal center, a Silicon Valley focused on guns, drugs, prostitution, and gambling, can work all across this great country - with a little help from the federal level.

I stand corrected on that last point, as Warners said that officially, he came on his own (check last paragraph of the linked article). I just assumed that they had to be involved at some level, if not an immediate one. Still, my overall point holds: WB did nothing wrong in this case save for releasing a movie.

Considering Bale is a free man, chose to go there, and didn't go there as Batman, as Bruce Wayne, but as a man visiting the hospital I don't see why WB need be involved at all.

Agreed though that suing WB over this is beyond stupid. Nothing WB did had anything at all to do with this shooting. It was the act of lone madman.
