Anyone finding any good prices/deals for this set in Canada? So far the best seems to be $79.99 from BestBuy. I have yet to find out what other store, like WalMart will be selling it for though.

Amazon.ca is the same so that's why I'm ordering it from Amazon.com for twenty bucks less. Even with the cost of shipping it'll still come out about fifteen or so bucks less. And, yeah, you can order stuff from Amazon.com from Canada. I've done it often when the price difference is too much or the item isn't available on Amazon.ca or elsewhere.

My Amazon order shipped yesterday (Saturday)!

Hoping I somehow get it a day early but I'll have the movie screening to hold me over a day.

I feel like I'm in a dream... TNG in HD...and in the movie theater...amazing!

And that is one reason why they did it. The syndication for tv broadcast for the next 25 years.

That review does let itself down somewhat with the dumb remark "I did notice a little grain and I’m surprised they didn’t opt to remove it but it’s not a big issue" but it's not a big issue.

That and the "Farpoint" screenshot isn't from the episode.

Very disappointed, I just picked up the UK edition and the DTS HD Master Audio 7.1 mix on EAF is wrong. The dialogue has been mixed into the centre and front right channels simultaneously throughout - extremely noticeable and distracting. The mix just sounds horrible. I have the sampler disc, and the mix is perfect on that. Just quickly checked The Naked Now, and the mix is correct on that episode also.

Could anyone with the US discs and a surround sound system corroborate this error also exists on their set? If not, I'll be returning mine and ordering from the States. I'd really appreciate a quick reply if anyone's willing.

I think only a couple people have it over here. They seem to be far stricter on folks in the U.S. receiving their copies even a day early.

    Thanks, BillJ!

Actually, could anyone with the UK discs check this as well? I suppose there's an outside possiblility I have a faulty disc - although extremely unlikely.
