I love screwing with Tactical Insertion users. If I can figure out where someone is inserting, I'll kill them and then rush back to their spawn point to knock them right back out as they return.

so, has anyone tried Face Off yet?

i played a couple of 2v2 matches today, one Kill Confirmed on Aground and a TDM on the other map. i quite liked it. it seemed oddly reminiscent of Quake 2 and 3 or UT 2004 with the much smaller maps.

Tried some private rounds of 2v2. Uturn was fun in a headless chicken sort of way. Vortex was visually cool and the interrupted sight lines can make it challenging. The Intersection map? Meh, not impressed.

another funny one with a tac insertion. i shoot the guy, reload, go to smash the insertion but pick up the guy's RSASS and the guy respawns so i shoot him with his gun. then get shot whilst trying to sort my weapons out.

Had a guy bitching about my PP90 use last night. Next game I used my M4 w/tubes attached, backed with SMAW. Almost doubled my kills from the first game. Thought he was going to come unglued. Told him I'd use the m-16 next if it made him happier. Forgot to mention what my #1 gun in Black ops was.
He didn't stay for a fourth round.

Terminal can't get here fast enough. I like Oasis and all, but it is getting voted up at near Nuketown rates, the last batch of face off maps as Elite content seems like a total failure to me. There seems to be a lot more players in the Face Off playlist than the Elite Face Off playlists right now.

I did a double take when I saw that triple kill and heard the chorus of all three of them yelling in frustration (I do love that on Xbox it lets you hear enemy chat for people you kill for a couple of seconds). Does anyone know if bullets deflect at all on impact? I was under the impression that they're straight pretty much no matter what, so I'll put it down to lag and/or the imprecision of Theater Mode recording...

Weird how sometimes the bullets go through-and other times they are stopped cold. Often in the exact same place, too.
