Years ago, I used that clip of Uhura for a doctored videotape. Her screaming came two seconds after the STAR TREK V logo wobbled onto the screen. Instantly following her shriek were quick clips of McCoy bellowing ''aaah!'' in the CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER teaser, Chekov screaming "'AAAAAAIIII!!!!!''on the bridge in THE THOLIAN WEB, Scotty groaning ''Aheeeee!!!!'' from I, MUDD, Sulu yelling ''AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!'' as McCoy needles him in THE NAKED TIME, and finally a close-up of a smiling Shatner from the end of THE MENAGERIE.
Plus the bit where the bridge crew painfully cover their ears from IMMUNITY SYNDROME, only this time reacting to Shatner singing about rocking horse people eating marshmallow pies.....
She got her copy of the script for Plato's Stepchildren?I still have the video. I forgot to say Nimoy's in it also, yelling ''Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!'' between Sulu and Kirk, from the failed Ilia-mind-meld in THE MOTION PICTURE.
I've probably strayed too far off the topic, though. Just what made Uhura scream so chillingly?
He exposed himself to Uhura, having never seen a penis quite that small, she screamed in terror.

The jump to Uhura screaming always makes me laugh. It comes out of nowhere so it seems absurd.
She just can't take the boredom anymore. The jump to Uhura screaming always makes me laugh. It comes out of nowhere so it seems absurd.
The out of nowhere is what makes it so neat.

Henoch made her see something she found utterly terrifying.

Didn't Henoch/Spock then turn to Sulu and say "Let that be a lesson to you navigator?"
To me it never looked like Uhura was in pain, but rather Henoch made her see something she found utterly terrifying.
