The Law Returns. This Time With His Helmet On! Judge Dredd!

Yeah, that is a pretty cool poster. Any idea when we'll get a trailer? I'm amazed we haven't gotten one yet. This comes out in September and I've already seen trailers for stuff coming out months later.

Well we know the production has had a little bit of trouble because of the director thingy earlier this year...I wouldn't be surprised if we got a trailer by the end of this month, possibly early next month.

Does anyone know of anywhere where you can get US digital versions of 2000AD? I found British digital comics for pounds, but I couldn't find any for US dollars.

You could just pay for them and it'll automatically do the exchange rate, that's what most American websites do when they deal in US Dollars and I use Pound Sterling.

I thought it would just give me I was trying to pay with the wrong kind of money, and ask me to use the right kind.

Yep. Comingsoon posted a ten second clip from the trailer but it was taken down by Machima. I thought we'd get one by the end of this month.

^I could actually understand what he was saying, so no. :p

Looks pretty good overall, though I get the feeling the tone of the film isn't quite in tune with the trailer. We'll just have to wait and see how turns out. Either way, it's clear that its an enormous improvement over the Stallone movie.

I loved it. Scenes straight from the script which I immediately recognized, along with lines which is always a bonus for me, this usually means that it didn't get re-written too much. Urban is excellent as Dredd, and I'm warming up to Lena Hedley's casting as Ma-Ma. Visually it looks stunning to me. The slow motion could be just for the trailer. We'll have to see if they use it again in the next trailer or not.

Looks pretty good, though there were perhaps a few too many repetitive slow-motion shots of, well, shooting, by the end. I suppose if the movie centres on a drug called 'slo-mo', it's inevitable that we'll get some slo-mo in the trailer...

Urban sounds more like I'd imagine Dredd to sound than Stallone did, even if he doesn't quite have the chin I'd have liked! Is it too late to CGI in Bruce Campbell's chin?
