TARDIS Transports Craig Ferguson to Scotland

Recorded last night's program and just got around to watching it. Not all that funny, I'm afraid. But I LOVED the bit with the Tardis; that was adorable!

And, wow, that girl from Alaska is dumb as a ROCK. It's a good thing she has her looks. :wtf:

You know.. I could actually see Craig Ferguson AS the Doctor if he wasn't so firmly in place as a talk show host...

They managed to get two TARDIS's. Notice the white windows and black windows difference

I wonder if this is the one that was spotted at Warner Bros and people assumed a movie was being made

I'm just tickled DW is getting more exposure in the US. True, the process is slow, but it IS happening. What a coup when NBC's "Today Show" aired a segment and the majority of the news presenters there at the time knew of and had watched Doctor Who.

And Ferguson didn't even bother with exposition. He just ushered his "ladies" into the police box along with the panto horse; the machine faded with the appropriate sound effects; and when it reappeared outside the castle, he emerged without bothering to explain what the heck just happened. He assumed enough of the viewers would get the reference and find it funny. The rest? Eh, forget them!

Sincerely,

Bill

I'll take your word for it as I've never seen the show. (Insert gasps of bewilderment from the other readers of this thread).

Sincerely,

Bill

OH, also, on BBCAmerica, they have a salute to Craig's best WHO moments HERE. Apparently, it's Craig's 50th today.
