What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

My wife made two loaves of Italian bread late last night

sadly only one is available for showing since we accidently ate most of the first one right out of the oven

Gorgeous looking loaf of bread. It would have gone great with the home-made "Beans and Greens" soup I made yesterday.

Mmm, that bread looks nice. Now I want to make some.

Last night I just roasted a chicken... which came out really juicy and tender. Stir-fried some asparagus, brocolli, mushrooms and garlic. I'd prefer a nice meal like that over something unhealthy any day. :)

Wasn't in the mood for anything grand or big so I just made a couple of small multigrain hoagies with cold cuts, deli-style cheese and condiments on them and washed them down with soda on ice.

We must meet. We must feast on these things. Bring Lumi.

That line begs to be said in a Vader voice.

Although, SPOCKED, I must also ask, how is it possible to "accidentally" eat a loaf of bread? Did it develop sentience and jump into your mouths? Did it sneak onto your plate and exchange itself with your main course without your knowing?

I fixed soup beans, fried potatoes, cornbread, and had it with sliced tomatoes and onions.

A large salad, with chicken mixed in. I'd call it chicken salad, but apparently Chicken Salad is its own dish. The salad was dressed with olives, cheese, diced apples, and ranch dressing. I may have also had some sweet potatoes on the side, but I can't remember if I had those before, at lunch. I followed this with strawberry-and-blueberry shortcake, washed down with a glass of milk.

I'll answer as Vader: It dared to rise...

I made for the first time spaghetti bolognese (which I understand is commonly called "spag bol" in the UK). I've had it before, but never homemade by me. It turned out really well - I am kinda proud of myself. I'll definitely make it again.
