Just finally put up my review for Star Trek Enterprise: Rosetta which anyone can read Here if they want.

Having a little break from Star Trek novels at the moment and just actually finished Watership Down which was suprisingly quite enjoyable. Now just about to get through some Indie authors book I was given for free to try out.

I'm currently reading Battle Royale: The Novel by Koushun Takami. It's similar to The Hunger Games in some ways.

Just published my review of the 6th book of the Gateways series, New Frontier: Cold Wars. Currently still reading Russka: The Novel of Russia (it's a loooooong one) and on-and-off reading The World Without Us.

I think you'll find it's the other way round, since BR predates HG by a decade or so...

Lonemagpie, I know Battle Royale predates The Hunger Games. I do think Battle Royale is the better book. I have read the complete Hunger Games trilogy and enjoyed it also. :)

What should I read next? I just had a major shopping spree at a Barnes and Noble; they sell used books and I bought a whole bunch for just $3 a piece (and they are in perfect condition)! The books I purchased are:

    -Articles of the Federation
    -Star Trek: Klingon
    -ENT Last Full Measure
    -Voyager Her Klingon Soul
    -
    Voyager The Murdered Sun
    -TOS Cross Road
    -TOS First Strike
    -
    TOS My Brother's Keeper: Republic
    -TOS My Brother's Keeper: Constitution
    -DS9 Armageddon Sky
    -DS9 Saratoga
    -TNG To Storm Heaven
    -
    TNG The Q Continuum
So...what's the best one out of this list?!?

    Seconded: Articles.

    Crossroad is also magnificent, though.

With my busy schedule, I finished reading (sporadically) "The Year of the Jackpot" from the Menace from Earth collection of stories.

I've been going back and forth with Raymond Benson's 1984 edition of his James Bond Bedside Companion since I have a similar idea I'm playing around with.

Finally! I've finished my review of book 7 of 7 of the Gateways series, What Lay Beyond, with the conclusions to all of the Gateways stories.

Just finished reading The Hunger Games and will hopefully be able to pick up Catching Fire tomorrow. I'm planning to read the whole HG trilogy before moving in ST: Vanguard and reading all of those this summer.

^ I just took a break from Vanguard and read the Hunger Games trilogy as well. We're doing retro review threads on all the Vanguard books this year, be sure to pay those a visit and add your voice :).

I will do so once I get into Vanguard. I'm hoping that in the time it takes me to read the first two novels I can find 3 and 4 (I have all the others).

I'm back on a Trek kick, so I decided it was long past time to finish off the various Trek novels I've bought over the last few years. Currently making my way through Titan: The Red King. :techman:

And yes, I've already read Taking Wing. I'm not an ignoramus. :p
