Any Help with Kitting out this ship would be appreciated.
At first glance, this is a very defensive ship designed to be a tank - take a lot of damage. Conversely, because she only have 2 tactical console slots, she can't dish too a lot of damage unless all 8 weapon banks are firing simultaneously.
All this dictates that this ship should use weapons with wide attack arcs and the ship should be be broadsiding opponents so as to bring all 8 weapons to bear. My recommendation would be to abandon torpedos and use 8 beam arrays. This also allows you to stack 2 identical consoles to boost your beam weapon's damage. To counter energy issues with using so many weapons, 2 EPS engineering consoles are necessary. You may also want to add 1 RCS engineering console to improve the ship's turning rate.
