Happy First Contact Day everyone!!

On today, April 5th 2063 First Contact was made with aliens after the flight of the Phoenix was detected by a passing Vulcan ship.

Actually, today is my birthday. So, First Contact should happen on my 95th birthday. (I'll save you all the math. That makes me 44 years old today. )

That's a funny coincidence. One of my cousins, who is also a Star Trek fan, will turn 100 on the actual First Contact day. A fact that he wasn't even aware of until I pointed it out to him. He couldn't believe that he missed it.

My husband was the one that noticed it first. The first time we saw the movie, he leaned over to me in the theater and whispered, "that will be your 95th birthday."
