Just fyi, there's currently a 20% discount on most items in the c-store, except for the Odyssey and Bortasqu ships. As a result, the dilithium exchange has shot up and is now fluctuating rapidly between 270 to 280.

Anyone know if the phaser relay consoles improve the spinal phaser lance on the Dreadnought Cruiser?

Yup, the lance is improved by phaser relays.

Kinda disappointed by the First Contact Day stuff. Mission was pretty boring (just run and talk to 5 people), and you get a non-combat pet. Not useful, and we have SO MANY of those sorts of things that the bank is overflowing. And in most cases, afraid to throw it out, because it was a special thing and you can't get it again.

Really need to have a bank expansion to admit that the number of special stuff we're supposed to be keeping has overwhelmed the slots if you've played since launch.

The KDF Alphas mission was fun, though. Liked that one!

Lot of effort into First Contact Day for a limited-time thing, though. Hopefully the maps and whatnot are planned for reuse shortly. Would hate to see the time wasted on short vanity stuff while missions and other rework, bugs etc go ignored...

Well, Alpha is going to be a regular mission and Utopia Planetia already has been confirmed to become a Foundry asset.
I a just disappointed, that there is no exterior for it.

    They have a bank expansion. It's 240 C-points.

Thanks. :) Gonna have to start stocking up on Phaser weapons to switch to for the Dreadnought Cruiser then. My Assault or Advanced Heavy Retrofit can get all those Polaron weapons.

Does anyone know of how to get over the ground attack glitch, where you're unable to inflict any damage yourself (turrets still seem to work), without leaving the map? Had it come up in Cure STF and didn't want to incur the leave penalty.

Ok, I'll once again demonstrate my stupidity. I just got myself a nifty little "pet" Phoenix. Now, what do I do with it? How do I access it?
Is this all that I am? Is there nothing more?

I'm sure this is another question that will be answered by "Cryptic hasn't finished that for KDF players yet," but does anyone know a good strategy for finding colonial missions to send Klingon duty officers on? I'm still ranked at level one (13,000/15,000) on that skill, when all my other duty officer skills are much higher.

Put the Pheonix in your Inventory, when you are flying around in space you can select it and "use" it. Where did you find the Pheonix? I've been all over the Sol map and Roamed spacedock and can't get to the utopia yards...

^You select "Utopia Planetia" when entering from sector space.

Leave the system and click on the button to take you to the ship yard or click on the First Contact day banner thing that shows up on your episodes/accolades menu thing and click the transwarp button.

You can actaully Transwarp to it (using the button in the mission window or the Journal window) for zero (0) EC from any Sol system Ground map (IE ESD or SFA)

The Ferengi lock boxes are here:
    http://www.startrekonline.com/node/3065

    Prepare to be spa..entertained!;)
As with the previous lock boxes, I am not really personally interested of spending any money on the keys, while I do admit that there is one or two nice items there.
I kind of wish that we would rather get some more stuff to the C-store instead, like some Klingon costume packs..and maybe a KDF bundle, since Fed side already have three(would be quite easy to invent content to such, IMHO).

I have been spending bit more time on the Klingon side of the game this week, creating a new toon and so on.
I also too advantage of the recent sale and finally got the Excelsior-class ship that I have been thinking of getting for a some time. I just need to refit her with some consoles now.
Definitely one of the best looking ships in the game:techman:

My Vulcan science officer got invited to Risa for some drinks by another player. She thanked everyone for nice shooting after after a fleet event..and I was only one who replied to that. What followed was some drinks and pleasant conversation:cool:

Some of the other players have expressed a good point, that they took away a lot of currencies, and now they added a new one that you have to buy with a terrible crystal drop rate.

What does my fifteen bucks a month go to? Other than que jumping (which I used twice) and the foundry (which I never use), If I use that money on getting cpoints, I get triple the amount. So I will be cancelling my sub this month.

That's pretty much the common math, if you aren't a LTS already. So little difference between Gold and Silver and even less if you have been Gold in the past, as you don't lose the benefits of bigger bank, etc when you downgrade.

Paying $15 a month extra for almost no gain. They give out C-Points, but inflated (almost) all the prices to compensate for it. And if you just paid for the items outright instead of doing the sub first, you'd have cash in your pocket, and could pick WHEN to spend it, instead of blowing c-points just because they're there and you paid already...

As for the currencies: I don't understand their logic. They took away Emblems and Marks of Vallor because they said we had too many currencies, and it was confusing. Screwed a lot of people on the conversion when they reduced them. Then added EDC/salvage for the STFs, dilithium, these crystalsm, and it's only increased the issue. Meanwhile, latinum, a legit Trek currency, sits around doing bubkis...

Indeed. They could at least make it so people could trade-in the now various flavoured boxes for latinum, instead of selling them on the exchange for 1 EC per pack of 10, or just destroying them.
