If instead of Obama somebody more black would had run...

All the best cheeses are funny sounding and foreign. It's a damned plot, I tell you. A damned bloody plot to ruin America's best sandwiches and pizzas.

It's not our fault that our cheeses are better than your cheeses are.

Well, I was just being facetious anyways. I've always preferred European cheeses to most that are considered American. After all, cheddar, swiss and mozzarella didn't exactly originate in Chicago or Brooklyn, and pepperjack has its origins and roots in Mexican Franciscan friars during the 19th century.:)

Sheeesh, I'm only 37 and there are days I can barely remember my own middle name...and I GO BY IT!:p

Have you ever had someone ask you how old you are and had to pause to think about it for a second? I've done that.

That's nothing.

Two years ago, my wife and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary. We did the whole thing: bought gifts, cards. Went out to dinner. Got calls and cards from our friends and relatives. Wonderful evening.

It was about 3 months later (absolutely serious here) that I was looking at a calendar and I realized we had only been married 18 years.

We celebrated the wrong anniversary, and neither of us noticed.

To me, the idea that this question is even "worth" asking is offensive.

It is always worth asking and discussing how race plays into politics. Same with gender, age, appearance. It was just not phrased well or with any indication that real discussion was sought.

I agree, phrased differently, it could have been a worthwhile, serious thread. As it stands, it's been quite entertaining.

Though I'm kind of loathe to admit it about a Yevetha thread, I agree with you ladies. His threads tend to be a complete and utter mess that have a shaky original premise and rapidly deteriorate from there, but there was a kernel of an intelligent, rational discussion at the heart of this abomination. But thanks to the original phrasing and other issues it's just another entertaining ride on the Yevvy Train.

Muenster cheese is American, and it’s damn tasty.

I'd contemplate what it would be like if somebody whiter than either Mitt Romney or Rick Santorum would run, but that would require convincing Edgar Winter and the kid from POWDER to seek election to national office. Although it would be kind of all sorts of awesome to have a President who could levitate shit.

Just get Eddie Murphy in white-face playing the old man in "Coming to America" and you'd get there.

This would be the perfect moment for Eddie's legendary "White in America" SNL skit from the early '80s, but thanks to the litigious nature of the douchebags at NBC Universal almost every single clip of older, classic SNLs has been yanked from YouTube.

A shame. It's one of the funniest takes on race I've ever seen in my life.

It's bad when the only way to remember it's your own birthday is when people starting Facebooking birthday wishes to you.

I once had to be reminded of my own birthday by someone completely outside the family and by telephone. My b-day is on the second of November and it was getting close to Halloween when a buddy called me up to ask what my Halloween night plans were going to be and if I wanted to do something with him and his wife. I told him I didn't have any major plans until Thanksgiving, and you could have heard a pin drop.

"Wait...what about your birthday, Ed-O?"

"My what?"

"Your birthday! It's in a few days!"

"Oh...you're wrong. My birthday's not until...

OHHHHHH. Riiiiight. Three or four days from now."

Total facepalm/Homer Simpson moment. It took me a little while to live that down, let me tell you.

Thanks a bunch, GK!

If a bowl of cheese ran and won in 2008, would John Boehner still weep like a little girl?

I have to admit, I am somewhat intrigued by this alternate reality in which John McCain loses to, and Joe Biden play second string to, a bowl of cheese.

[Preemptive Neroon Strike] He was a gouda president. [/PNS]

He would be whey better than some of the Meunsters of past administrations.
